ABOUT US
At Baldwin Periodontics and Implant Dentistry our goal is to provide the highest quality care for our patients. We strive to create a calm, welcoming environment, where everyone feels comfortable.
As a specialty practice, we
limit our scope to the field of periodontics. We work closely with your general dentist to provide comprehensive care and address all of your needs.
OUR SERVICES
Comprehensive Periodontal Exam
Periodontal health is the foundation of a healthy mouth. We perform a detailed exam including measurements, intraoral photographs, oral cancer screening, and radiographs if necessary. We use this information to develop a unique treatment plan for every patient.
Treatment of Gum Disease
We work to maintain your teeth through a variety of procedures. This can include regenerative procedures to regrow your bone and gum tissue or resective procedures to reduce pockets.
Gum Grafting
Soft tissue recession or "receding gums" is a common condition. We perform procedures to increase the thickness, amount , or type of tissue supporting teeth or implants.
Dental Implants
Implants are a great way to fill in spaces in your smile. They can also be used to help retain dentures and other prostheses. To decide if implants are an appropriate treatment we obtain a 3D scan.
Crown Lengthening
Crown lengthening is a procedure that exposes tooth structure. We perform this when there is not enough tooth structure for a crown to be put on, or for esthetic purposes to treat a "gummy" smile.
Cleanings
The first step to treating periodontal disease is scaling and root planing often called a deep cleaning. We also perform regular maintenance cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
